Where is ganondorf in twilight princess

We've long speculated that Ganondorf is set to return in the next game, based off of the short and confusing trailer that released last year.

If you look closely at the trailer, as Colin Stevens has done , there are a few details that support this theory. Take a look at the cloth attached to the corpse - it features the symbol of the desert-bound Gerudo tribe.

If you're familiar with Ganondorf and Zelda lore, you'll know he is part of the Gerudo, of which he once ruled. The Gerudo Champion, Urbosa, also eludes to this: "It was written that Calamity Ganon once adopted the form of a Gerudo," with her referring to the Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time who is the same one in Twilight Princess.

In the trailer, the spot on the corpse that is being resurrected by this mysterious arm is the same place where Link drove the Blade of Evils bane. This wound was originally put in place in the Child Link timeline. But the Triforce of Power allowed Ganondorf to survive, pull the sword out and kill the Sage of Water.

The remaining sages used the Mirror of Twilight to banish Ganondorf to the Twilight Realm, which started the events of Twilight Princess. During the final battle, Link impales the Demon King with the legendary blade in the same spot as the Ancient Sages, which puts an end to his terror. The malice that spews out of this wound seems far too similar to be just a coincidence and there aren't many other scenarios in Zelda games where this repeats itself.

Next up is the Headdress that the corpse is donning. While it's not a like-for-like replica compared to the Twilight Princess version, it's not too dissimilar. It's also important to bear in mind that every game in Zelda history has brought in its own artistic style, so you'll need to grant some leeway for subtle differences. Both are covered in gold and sport a large yellow Topaz in the centre of the piece; which according to the Zelda Encyclopedia is his favourite.

And lastly, again, it's something that Ganondorf hasn't been seen with in other titles. First off, Reddit user ReroFunk found that if you reverse the trailer audio, there are certain notes that echo the music played during your final encounter with Zant one of the antagonists in Twilight Princess.

He may have been defeated during that game, but he is adamant he'll return through the power of his "god". There's a lot to take in here. Is Zant referring to Ganondorf? Or is there another God in play? In the trailer, the mysterious blue hand does have markings that look very reminiscent of those the Twili brandish. Zelda's soul is returned to her body, but after a brief reunion between her, Link, and Midna, Ganondorf rematerializes, immediately transforming into the behemoth, boar-like creature known as Ganon.

He erects a magical barrier to prevent Zelda from intervening and attacks Link, who must utilize his own beast form to defeat Ganon. Afterwards, Ganon's body is immolated in greenish flames, until these coalesce into a huge flaming image of Ganondorf's head.

Spoiler warning : Spoilers end here. When the battle starts, Ganon will run around the room destroying the pillars that make up the area. He will then warp out of the room and summon red Twilight portals , which fade a few seconds after appearing.

One of the portals remains longer than the others and turns blue; Ganon emerges from this portal and charges Link. Occasionally, Ganon will instead materialize above Link in an attempt to crush him—to evade this attack, Link must run away as Ganon's shadow appears overhead. Link may use the Hero's Bow and aim for the glowing jewel on Ganon's forehead, or he can smash Ganon's head with the Ball and Chain. He can also fight as Wolf Link , in a process similar to stopping Ordon Goats or rolling Gorons : press and hold the A button at precisely the right moment during Ganon's charge to cause Midna to grab the beast, at which point tilt the control stick will throw Ganon onto his side.

Be wary when he vanishes, as he's quite fond of reappearing on top of you. Watch for his shadow to avoid this attack. He'll often teleport back into the arena via a portal; however, several fake ones will appear first in an effort to throw you off. Stand on either side of the room and watch for a portal that turns blue; that signifies the one that Ganon will emerge from. Keep your bow and arrow armed and aim at the shining spot on his forehead when he charges at you.

This will knock him onto his side; slash at the glowing spot on his stomach to damage him. After a few hits, Ganon will try a new trick.

At some point, Ganon will vanish whenever you fire an arrow at him. That means it's time to transform into wolf form. Although it may go against everything you've learned, face the portal he emerges from head-on and let Ganon charge right at you.

Press the A button when the indicator appears on screen and then hold the control stick left or right to wrestle him to the ground. Once he's down, attack his stomach again to defeat the boar. Ganondorf will now resort to horseback to fend you off. Thankfully, the light spirits will bestow Zelda with light arrows to attack Ganon. Chase after Ganon on your horse and Z-target him when you're close.

Zelda will arm an arrow, as indicated by the golden glow, and will fire it after a few seconds. Zelda fires directly ahead, so make sure you're lined up exactly with Ganondorf. If the arrow connects, Ganondorf will be stunned for several seconds. That's your cue to dash in and slash away with your sword spin attack works too.
